The applications and uses of Essential Oils are immense. Many new applications and uses of Essential Oils are being discovered everyday, making them the most sought after thing to to improve quality of life with challenges like headache, depression, anxiety, constipation etc..; These are not my words, but the opinions of the experts itself. Even though there are a huge applications of essential oils in our daily life, most of them may seem really surprising and you won’t even believe them that they are so simple to implement and obtained results are so vast. So in this article, we are going to list out 10 surprisingly simple uses of essential oils that everyone should know about. So here we go.

Eucalyptus: Eucalyptus is purifying, invigorating and is often used in topical preparations. Inhaling or diffused, blend 3-5 drops with 1 tablespoon of carrier oil to desired area or bottoms of feet.

 

Juniper Berry: The restoring and supporting benefits come from the berry of the juniper tree. Try 2-3 drops on the bottoms of feet to improve quality of life.

 

Lavender: Used in baths, sprays, lotions, oils and more, lavender promotes a calm and relaxed feeling.

 

Lemon: Lemon is a refreshing and cheering oil that should be heavily diluted if you plan on applying it to the skin. Put 5-10 drops in a spray bottle with 1 drop of dish soap, shake and then spray your rooms for a uplifting feeling. 

 

Peppermint: Refreshing and cooling peppermint can invigorate you with its powerful aroma. You may inhale it or try applying 1 drop to the bottoms of feet.

 

Rosemary: This clarifying scent is often used in household sprays, soaps and shampoos. Try 5-8 drops in your favorite hand soap or shampoo.  Never use undiluted.

 

Sage: Just one drop is all you need to enjoy the warming effects of the camphor scent.  Inhaling or diffusing this oil is also very relaxing.

 

Spearmint: This refreshing and cooling essential oil can help tighten pores if you add a few drops to your bathwater along with a cup of coarse Himalayan Salt

 

Melaleuca : Add a drop of Essential Oil to your shampoo to keep the dandruff away.

 

Ylang Ylang: The ylang ylang plant was originally cultivated in the Philippines, but it soon made its way around the world because of its distinctive scent and beautiful appearance. This essential oil is used to relax both the mind and body. You may try blending 10 drops with Himalayan Salt, a few drops in a diffuser or mixing 3-4 drops with a carrier oil to make a perfume.
